Many things we seek in life come much later than we were hoping for. And although we’ve seen this happen before, we still find ourselves being frustrated and ready to throw in the towel. It’s only through the word of God that we find the strength to continue to have hope, especially after learning that, oftentimes, the blessings of God are simply delayed, not exactly denied!

Do you really know Christ? We live in a world and time where an enormous amount of people claim to know God and are spiritual or religious to some degree. Everyone has their own idea or thoughts about God…but do we really know Him? Do we know His judgments, His commandments, or His ways? We have an opportunity to know Him if we don’t!

As we continue to learn of the Lord, we will notice that there is a price to be paid for the blessings of God; no, they do not come free! Something I desire and, more importantly, need is more patience! Now I know what you’re thinking, “I know all about patience! I’ve heard this before!” But if you’re thinking this…that is exactly the point. It is through patience that God really begins to teach us lessons and blesses us! With patience, we reach new levels in Christ that we never would without it! Let’s work on our patience together.

We are presented with choices every day. In simplest terms, the choice is to do right or wrong in God's eyes. Many of these choices seem to present an upside with no downside at all! But one thing is for sure: God is watching!!! The choices we make always have consequences. So the next time you are faced with a decision to make, if you consider doing wrong, ask yourself, Is the Juice Worth the Squeeze?

Have you suffered and struggled? Sure, you have! Being a child of God, we’re told we must suffer persecutions and endure hardness as a good soldier. Although this place isn’t desirable, it’s necessary for us. We are becoming the children of God, becoming refined and tried by the fire….and when it’s all said and done, we will be victorious in Christ Jesus!

Jesus told us about a famous parable: The Sower Sowing Seed. This one speaks to those who understand planting seeds and hoping for their offspring. Whether you have a green thumb or not, this parable has lessons for us all to learn if we will take heed. By the end of it, we should look at our surroundings and wonder, will the word of God grow within us?

We have a daily choice of whether to be truthful or to lie. As we continue on the journey of life, we are faced with situations where a lie seems easier and more beneficial to tell! This is an illusion, though, because the word of God tells us the dangers of telling and living a lie! The end for a liar is not pleasant! Don’t let this spirit consume you!
