This is a very well-known Bible story. Jesus uses parables all of the time. He always uses something physical to get us to understand something physical. In this story, He talks about 5 people being wise and 5 people being foolish. The wise brought oil for their lamps, but the foolish brought no oil. Are you going to be a part of the foolish or a part of the wise? Let’s take a deep dive into the Bible and see what Jesus is really talking about in this parable. Y’all be blessed!

We’re talking about the oneness of God again! This can be a very deep topic, and our goal is to make it as plain as possible to anybody who is interested. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost is all one. The name is Jesus. In the book of Revelation, Jesus declared he is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and ending. The Father is the beginning. The Holy Ghost is the ending. We all know Jesus is the Son. Let’s take a deep, deep dive in the Bible as we attempt to unravel this topic. Y’all be blessed!

Do we have the wisdom of God or the wisdom of man? We can be fooled and think we have the wisdom of God. When we have a lack of an understanding of God’s word, the devil doesn’t have to work so hard to fool us. The only way to truly know is if we take the time to look at God’s word and see what He says. Y’all be blessed!
Focus Verse: 1 Corinthians 1:22
Questions asked during this live stream:
- @38:36 - How can you bless someone who has cursed you? What does that statement mean?
- @1:00:22 - Melvin read early to turn the other cheek, but what about an eye for an eye? The Bible states both, right? So, how do we separate the two?
- @1:21:21 - The New Testament has new laws, but we still should follow the Old Testament if we have Christ in our hearts, right?
- @1:29:39 - Doesn’t God give the wisdom to men to teach the people?
- @1:39:09 - How would one depict or know a preacher that is a wolf in sheep’s clothing over one who is not a wolf and is a real Shepard who is leading their flock? And [what] if that “wolf” has been leading your family church for years and everyone thinks that he/she is right?

The devil is a huge copycat. God has His true preachers, and the devil has his. The Bible tells us to beware of these false prophets. A lot of these false prophets will say a lot of things that sound appealing to people. And people will listen, just because it’s what they want to hear. The Bible says they have itchy ears. 9 times out 10 what we need to hear is NOT what we want to hear. Let’s take a look at some of the devil’s minions’ tactics. Y’all be blessed!

In Moses’ Law, there are a LOT of rules that they had to follow. They couldn’t eat certain meat, they couldn’t wear certain shirts, etc. One of the main tasks they had to keep was that they couldn’t do any work whatsoever on the Sabbath Day. A lot of people still try to uphold these rules today. Do we have to keep them? As Christians, are we prohibited from eating certain meats? In today’s episode, we answer these questions and many more. Be blessed!

Jesus said that just as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the Son of man. Noah preached for 120 years that it would rain. 120 years… and all he got to listen to him was 7 people. It was Noah, his wife, their three sons, and his sons’ three wives. Just like today when the true word of God gets spread, no one wants to listen. There is safety in today’s metaphorical ark, just as it was safety in the physical ark in the days of Noah. Let’s take a look in the Good Book and see how we can attain this safety. Y’all be blessed!
