At any given moment, one of the most popular questions is, “What time is it?” We use time to give us a sense of direction and security. Everything is centered around time because this is how God has constructed things. With that said, God has given us a certain time to be saved. After that, our opportunity is no more. We’ve heard many talk of Jesus returning, but when will it be? What time is it?!

Have you been baptized into Christ? We’ve asked this question countless times and once again, we’re asking! Why? Because it is important; it’s a command given by the Lord. Jesus asked Peter the same question 3 times in the same setting to get Peter’s attention. So here we are, posing this question to you, to cause you to think on this carefully and consider! Have you ever thought about quitting? This thought comes to our mind when circumstances become tough! Today we’re having 30-degree rains and it makes one not want to go out and do any of the things they need to accomplish. When things are not pleasant and comfortable we’re tempted with quitting! But if we would hold on and persevere, we would receive the blessing waiting for us on the other side!!

How are things going for you? No matter how well we say things are going, we all find ourselves needing comfort. We need something that will sustain us and keep us moving forward. This is exactly what we get in Christ! It’s worth coming to him. Tonight we talk about the comfort only God can give!
