If we take a look at a natural house, the foundation is one of the most important aspects. If the foundation is faulty, it will soon reveal itself and won’t stand the test of time nor the storms. This same concept can be applied to our lives and walk with Christ. We must have our foundation solid so that we will last and complete the journey!

In this life we live, whatever we aren’t continually using, we continue to lose it. We see this in so many areas. Skills we use to have years ago, we no longer have them because we stopped using them. This happens even in God! We have to stay diligent at seeking Him and His word or we’ll lose what we did know!

In life, we often find ourselves talking less and less precautions of things we have neglected before, such as a seat belt. After driving/riding in a car without it, we begin to feel it’s “nothing, no big deal.” This takes place in many areas of life as we have the same approach to God's word. We find ourselves overtime being less and less careful!

The caterpillar is a unique creature. If we observe it, we can gain insight into how we should be. Just as the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, God expects us to become a different creature as well, a holy creature, righteous, full of love and joy!
