On this day many celebrate for various reasons! We, being the children of God, have reasons to celebrate as well with the main reason being ALL that God has done for us! Reflect on your life and give thanks to God for the good and the bad. It has brought us to this point. He is good to us even when we do not deserve it! What a mighty God we serve!

The best opportunity in life we will be given is to spend all of our days here and our days after this life, with our Lord! With knowing this, we must also know that there is a limit to the offer! God has been incredible to us! Just take a moment and think back over your life and reflect on things He has done. Isn’t it great?! Tonight we will look at where He has brought us from to make sure we stay encouraged as we continue on this journey. Things happen sometimes that may shake us, but as long as we’re grounded in faith and remember not to take anything for granted that God has done for us, we will be just fine!

We did a bible study in the past on counting the cost, a concept Jesus mentioned. When we desire a certain thing, we have to look at just how much and what it will cost us to get it. One thing we love in this world, as people, is money! But when seeking it, we have to ask ourselves, the things we’re doing to gain it, is it worth it?
